Hello

I'm Ciara and this is my blog. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with running. 

When I love it it's because I can go out whenever I want, wherever I want. I can use the time to channel my thoughts, think things through, take out my anger and get fit all at the same time. Plus I can eat more ! 

I hate it when I just can't seem to get my backside out of the door... so in another attempt to get training... i've made a blog!


My Running History

I started running down at the athletics track when I was around 7 or 8. I actually hated running before that and always felt like I was the slowest on the playground haha. I loved running so much throughout my secondary school years competing in many cross country races and athletics competitions. As well as a trillion other sports including swimming which I trained for numerous times a week. Yet when I turned 16 I seemed to give up on it all for a few years. 

I didn't start back until I was around 19 or 20 as part of a small running group which I now lead. While I find it easy to motivate others and enter races, I am hopeless when it comes to following a training regime for myself. So here goes...
